Insurance Sales and Insurance CSR Benchmarking Program

The IdealTraits office handles many questions daily, but two more often than others. “What is the perfect profile for Insurance Sales role?” and “What is the perfect profile for an Insurance Agency CSR role?”. With our current client list of more than 2500+ Insurance agencies across the country and tens of thousands of industry specific assessments we could, if participation was high enough, initiate a concurrent validation study and successfully benchmark the perfect Insurance Sales and Insurance CSR for your agency. A concurrent validation study would involve gathering assessment data from top performing “Current Employees” in your agency.

Together, we have the opportunity to create two industry specific customized internal benchmarks which will allow us to sculpt a more accurate profile of what a top performing Insurance Sales and Insurance CSR candidate looks like in an agency setting. What is benchmarking?

Benchmarking is achieved by selecting people with a common job description and evaluating them using IdealTraits Performance Index. By grouping top performers it is possible to build an agency hiring benchmark. With your help, IdealTraits will be creating an Insurance Sales Benchmark and an Insurance CSR Benchmark.

What are the benefits of benchmarking?

Benchmarking allows for a method of “cloning” most productive employees based on top performers according to job titles. Once developed, newly assessed candidates can be compared against the Insurance Sales Benchmark or the Insurance CSR Benchmark to help guide your decision making process for agency fit.

Participation – How do I nominate my top producer(s)?

Your participation is critical to accurate benchmarking results. To participate you will need to nominate your top performing Insurance Sales and Insurance CSR by filling out this online form or by clicking the Nominate Button button below. Before nominating your employee(s) please see the qualifications below.

Insurance Sales nominee qualifications:

  • Nominee must be currently employed in your agency for last 3 months.
  • Nominee must have the appropriate Insurance licensing in your state.
  • Nominee must average 30 or more items per month in the last 3 months.
  • Nominee must have completed the IdealTraits assessment within the last 12 months.

Insurance CSR nominee qualifications:

  • Nominee must be currently employed in your agency for last 3 months.
  • Nominee must have completed the IdealTraits assessment within the last 12 months.

Your involvement in the Insurance Sales and Insurance CSR Benchmarking Program is critical. As a thank you for your participation, the benchmarks (when available) will be integrated into your IdealTraits account and readily available to compare future results to the established benchmarks. The agencies that participate in the program will receive this feature FREE OF CHARGE. Here is an image of how the benchmarks may be integrated into your IdealTraits platform.
